this needs to change.

Been thinking about this, I discount myself on Farcaster bc I’m not building/working in web3. My value add is more that I’m a personality contributor with non spicy fun positive nurturing vibes. I need to create more value add but also, be more confident. Thank you for the reminder to not discount myself!

I can see why FC may seem daunting to newcomers at the moment... But I swear the feeling I get from a solid callback to another cast to another cast earlier in the day is borderline unbeatable. Best town square/public group chat experience thus far.

Oh, minting one piece on multiple chains... Interesting.
For me, I don't really see a big difference between minting on Zora and Base, because for both I use the Zora website. Then it's just about selecting which L2 to send it to, in a way.
But I am sensitive to vibes. That's also why I like Tezos for minting my poetry

I think experimenting with all the chains is important. I want to do more on OP as I’m feeling more & more part of that community but my vibe check is that Base feels like minting from the business school & zora from the art school.

Oh, I was thinking the same about OP but I guess it goes under the same concept as BASE that I mentioned (chain related to transacting, mostly) although there are multiple OP quests that you can do and maybe some of them are related to NFTs? 

I should try as well...

Composable chains are great but I need composable state so I don't get the same unread alerts on 20 apps

Interesting. Why do you think this distinction (Zora = art, Base = funding) is there? I am experimenting with art, and have been minting most recent poems on Base.

This is actually the metric we use for our goerli faucet. If you have a .eth you can withdraw .25eth every 90 days.

Warpcast as a client will offer ways to manage your Farcaster account and charge a small convenice fee. Eventually would like to have features that people find valuable for a subscription.

There’s a storage contract on OP Mainnet to pay to access limited space on Hubs. Just like you have to pay to access limited space on Bitcoin or Ethereum.

People are free to fork Hubs and not use a smart contract. Just won’t be in the canonical version of the network.

for sure, but even the dollar bleeds purchasing power. I get that stablecoins offer an onchain anchor of sorts, but ultimately currency's got to make sense as a numeraire for exchanging physical goods & services, preferably w/o counterparty risk. otherwise it's all just bits, might as well be FPI or hedged ETH

hedged ETH carries an even bigger counterparty risk than just holding $LUSD (+ Hedged ETH follows the assumption that funding rates will always/mostly be positive)

fair point. also nothing against LUSD, it's definitely one of the better stables.
true that there's counterparty risk w/ hedged ETH, would require active management.
