The tokenlist is a remaining point of centralization in the DeFi stack. Every protocol today uses a centralized token list.

TKN runs on top of ENS, where each ticker is a subdomain of tkn.eth.

For example: the data for $LINK can be found onchain in the resolver contract for link.tkn.eth. Thus TKN inherits the lindyness, security, app integrations, and tooling of ENS.

The ticker symbol is a unique and exciting primitive. Due to the trustful nature of traditional finance, tickers were never able to reach their full potential as the TCP/IP of value.

I have respect for WalletConnect a LOT. they addressed a user need. We have 1 wallet connect and 900 wallets on the market. When WC migrated to v2 everyone complained (until stable). How LMAO only 1 WC and ALL ya'll complaining. Where are the VCs? this is consumer too. lol

Maybe it just cost too much to put your money where your mouth is (Royal you), but where’s the 100’s% yield that we’re being magically produced during DiFi summer? I wasn’t there so…

Divastaking is a brand new liquid staking protocol. They are accepting stETH deposits which continue accruing rewards, but will convert to divETH when Diva’s mainnet launch happens.

Basically a vampire on Lido. Proceed with caution though it’s days old haven’t used myself :)

we ended up talking a lot about the import of developing relational/participatory methods of creating and maintaing a digital commons

the concept of "community" as a verb is relevant - the digital commons is something we *do* together, not just talk about

how do we get to action together in co-creating the digital commons? as smaller intimate communities, and as a larger shared digital community?

ultimately, we saw the greatest needs for the digital commons through the lens of spirituality and social coordination, cooperation

given the *digital* aspect of the digital commons, we were particularly excited about the role of blockchains, AI agents & protocols 

how do we incorporate spirituality and social coordination w these technologies? we might need another Gathern to further explore these topics!

The protocol also supports optimistic delivery for sending to an address that isn't registered yet

I think Ethereum should remain composable with simple primitives like Linux tools Philosophy. It's very easy to adopt the tech-de-jour (ZK, ePBS, private mem pools) which may not be necessary for all users.

We can finally calculate onchain LTV:CAC ratios.

CAC: the referral rewards a protocol pays to an app.
LTV: the resulting revenue for the protocol from that newly acquired user.

Apps can consider that protocol CAC as their APRU, added up across the protocols they send users to.

When DAUs plateaued end of June, @macbudkowski and I implemented key delegation to improve the user experience for @kiwi. But adding it to the protocol wasn't sufficient. It involved tons of changes in the UI to integrate it into the onboarding and to make it all seamless.
