I airdropped this photo(edition of 29) to some of the people I met last month in NYC. Something changed for me during that trip(in a good way) and I think it was a combination of all the events that fell into place in those 5 days. This photo will always be a good reminder of it.

at nft nyc a camera crew thought a party i was organizing was a DeGods event and I have never been so flattered.

@incarterseyes's project is awesome and it was a treat to meet him at the FC NFT NYC meetup!

We experimented at ETH Denver by dropping our collection of 121 unique Protobreaker NFTs to builders.

We used Merlin on L1, all while covering gas for minters. These NFTs will play a key role in our ecosystem.

Fun fact: there are 59 owners of Protobreakers on Farcaster!

What are some good “token enhanced” experiences?  

Instead of gating access, experience upgrades feel more aligned with consumer behavior.

For example, I’d like to get costume pieces for my pfp NFTs that follow me everywhere, or unlock abilities to make @briang do stuff on his streams.

There was someone who I believed worked at a16z who did a really really interesting thing for NFT NYC + NFC tech. I'll recast and maybe we can find them :)

Timing and traveling for conferences is hard for builders. I'd recommend having it as a dedicated day during the conference week of another big crypto event. Like ETHDenver, NFT NYC, or Permissionless this fall.

I think it would have been nice, if Farcon happened before, during or after another big web3 event, eg NFT NYC. I assume all the farcasters who traveled to NYC for the event would stay longer / travel to Boston for Farcon. It could be to costly to travel to Boston only for Farcon.

Sad I missed you too — we hit a snag in the ceremony sequencer and I had to get back to the hotel. There will be another NFT NYC, though. Maybe even a Quilibrium conference before you know it 😄
